Create an area you can develop a new course

Your live D2L courses, the ones students eventually see, appear in your My Courses list approximately a month before classes begin. While that is plenty of time to upload a syllabus and setup the grade-book, if you are developing a sophisticated online or hybrid class you may want a development area (a "shell") to work on months in advance. You may use this form to request one. 

Please fill out the form below completely. Inaccurate information may prevent you from accessing your new development shell. It may take a week for your new blank "Dev" course to be created. When it is created, it will appear in your D2L course list under the  "Master Semester" with the name following this format: AAA 101 176 (John Smith) Dev. Create your new course in this blank area and then import the content into your live section when it becomes available.
