The Building Maintenance Division is one of the smallest units within the Facilities Department, yet it is charged with solving some of our most challenging assignments. This division operates and maintains the four buildings on the CentreTech campus, and the six buildings occupied by the college on the Lowry Campus. Chuck Socienski operates and maintains the Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems. The addition of responsibility for our Lowry facilities has resulted in creation of a vacant Structural Trades I position. This position will be opened and filled in the near future.
The maintenance staff is on duty Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, to respond
to problems and emergencies. In the event of an emergency at other times, contact the
Security Office at ext. 4727 -- who will dispatch help.
Chuck Socienski, Pipe/Mechanical Trades II, joined the
Community College of Aurora in May of 1991, as the college prepared to move onto
the CentreTech campus.
Mike Davis, Electrical Trades II, came to the Community College of Aurora from the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) in 2000. Mike obtained his Master Electrician's License in June 2005.
Vacant, Structural Trades I.
